The book contains extensive beautiful underwater color photography that is the California Channel Islands.Husband and wife team Dale and Kim Sheckler founded and published the only journal dedicated to California diving — California Diving News (CaDivingNews.com), from 1984-2012. They continue to be contributors and editors to the publication. From its founding in 1988 until 2012 they operated what would become the largest consumer dive expo in the Western Hemisphere, the Scuba Show (ScubaShow.com). They continue to be consultants and seminar speakers for the expo. Their combined logged dives exceeds 15,000 hours, the vast majority of those being in California waters. In total they have published 6 books on California diving, 3 of which they are the authors. Kim is a member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame and in 2012 together they received the California Scuba Service Award. Read more
